It can be found world-wide but there is a school in Portland (I am not positive of the name...the Francisan..something like that, I visited it 15 years ago) where the graduates had a 100% acceptance rate to college. It spends the most on education per member of the population. If you visit the websites of Danish schools you get a strong feeling of an ordered and caring system. Other Scandinavian countries also have a good reputation especially Finland. As far as methodologies go, there are supporters and detractors for every system, so you cannot really compare. Public schools are just that public and are run just like the government; wasteful and backwards. Private schools are student centered and give the students what they need to succeed in today's world.
